In between the train station and parts of the touristy areas, so you’ll be taking the bus/public transit and walking quite a bit, but overall great location. This is a 4-star hotel that is very busy and offers clean and comfortable rooms with nice bathrooms, that are simple but effective. "

"Great family friendly, quiet location close to Kyoto Station (1 train stop or 20-25mins walk). The local station is only a few hundred metres away. "

"Comfortable beds and pillows, amazing shower, wonderful amenities and super friendly staff. Very convenient location for traveling and shopping. Only downside was breakfast which I only visited twice as they didn’t have a lot of options for oatmeal/baked goods/ yogurt lovers. Both days the one option of plain yogurt was at the bottom of the dish, no baked goods except for mini plain croissants and I had to ask both times for staff to replenish both the granola and yogurt dishes. Not a deal braker, still amazing hotel and we will gladly visit again!"
