"A convenient hotel with an elegant esthetic. They in hotel dining is rather expensive. But there are plenty of great places to eat around the area. The main train station is relatively close and theres a shuttle bus that can help out with getting luggage around. "

"We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Hotel New Hankyu Kyoto. Location was amazing, right across from the train station which allowed us to get around easily. We had 4 in a room and though it was a little crowded we were so grateful that the option was available. The beds were a tad hard but we all slept well. The front staff was incredible helping with a passport that got lost on the train. The gentleman and woman that helped us were so kind and worked hard get in touch with the right people and we had a passport in hand within 4 hours. Overall it was a great stay!"

"Just across the train station. Lots of restaurants around the area. The train sounds can be heard a bit but it does not bother me. The rooms are spacious (booked 2) for Japan standards. There is an ice machine and water refilling station on our floor (I believe there is one on every floor) Easy check-in and check-out. The staff were very nice. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in Japan (this is my second visit to the country and have stayed in 3 hotels each time)."
