"I travel every month to Calgary and other places in BC and Alberta. I always use hotels.com, so I am not new to this. I also had two other people booked at the hotel and had two people booked last month at this hotel. Of the three travels I had the worst room. It was facing the train platform right below me. This is continuously noisy till late due to the trains and some less than stable people yelling. I actually got up because someone was yelling help me! very loudly. (they were fine) I did...

"We really enjoyed our stay, the hotel was in a great location and the staff was friendly. They even upgraded us to a king room which was so nice, but when we went in our room, all the surfaces were filthy and full of food and stains. They gave me wipes to clean it myself which was disgusting cause even the bathroom was dirty and the toilet had stains on it and the side tables were full of hair and brown stains. "The room was very nice and clean. We chose a room with a kitchenette to make ourselves dinner. The downside was the ventilation was bad so for the rest of our stay, the room smelt like food... we also didn't have salt, pepper and olive oil nor were there cleaning supplies to do the dishes. We asked the front desk and they came to give us what we needed to clean the dishes... still no salt, pepper or olive oil. "
