"We stayed for four nights and had a few friends and family who joined us for an overnight or two as well. We also had many people over for the day. The property was spacious and a perfect gathering place for everyone. We had rented a boat so the dock access was incredible and though the beds weren’t very comfortable, there was enough sleeping spaces for everyone. "

"This unit was clean and the property managers created an easy check in/check out process (without an excessive list of check out responsibilities). This is a basement unit with larger windows. The ad shows a lot of cozy throw blankets and we loved this vibe however there were no throw blankets on site - not a "make it or break" it detail but we were a bit disappointed. If you are looking for a good, basic suite, you will be satisfied with this one."

"Pros-Location was great. Rustic feel. Staff was very helpful. Public transportation stop right outside hotel. Very walkable to downtown. Cons-noisy, walls between rooms were thin. Could hear neighbors next door/upstairs. Single bed room was quite small. Only one machine for whole complex. No way to keep drinks cold in room, I.e. small refrigerator in room. Elevator always smelled like exhaust and made some not so confidence instilling sounds when approaching a few of the floors. "

"This place was a more affordable (but still not exactly a bargain!) place to stay right in Banff! You checkin at a fancier hotel down the street and they give you your keys and then you drive over to The Dorthy Motel. It had 2 nice sized beds, a microwave, a small fridge (no freezer area), coffee pot/coffee and a tea kettle. The bathroom had lots of counter space and the shower was great! Only one small window in the room which was good for us so that it was nice and dark for sleeping. My only...
