Find Hotel with a Concierge in South Island

"Staff were helpful and not overly chatty. Checked in at 5pm only to be told room was not ready for at least another hour. When check-in time is supposed to be 2pm/3pm. Good paid parking. Hotel appeared to operate on skeletal staff. Room was very spacious and clean however, there was a big gap between floor and door which allowed cold air and noise to travel into room. Amenities were very good especially decent sized kettle for tea. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast offerings were very good both hot and cold. "

"Had a lovely 3 night stay here. Ate at the restaurant twice and it was delicious. Staff were lovely. Room was spacious. Only downfall was the hill to get to the accommodation. We felt like we needed to drive down to the main area of Queenstown, and parking in Queenstown is not great and all paid. Parking at the hotel is a first come first served basis and basically luck of the draw. This could be better managed."

"We had a lovely stay at Pinewood Lodge. The room is clean and the size is just right for my small family. The shared kitchen is well maintained and got everything that we needed like pots and pans, plates and cutleries. The staffs are all kind, friendly and accommodating. The place is very convenient and you can walk 10 minutes or less to the QT city center. "
