"LOVELY stay-the proprietors Tim and Janet are wonderful hosts-we were allowed to check in early, shared an informal happy hour and they gave us a lot of local information and happenings. Janet showed a lot of personal touches to the room and it was great to have our own patio. HIGHLY recommend!"

It was good to have an open fire, because the living area was cold without it : perhaps a heat pump as well would be a good idea. "The room was very nice with lots of room for luggage and it had all the necessary amenities as well as the little extras like cookies and chocolate. The hosts were great, giving us lots of useful information and the breakfast they provided was wonderful. The heated bathroom floors were a real luxury."

The owners also offer small bottles of wine and a cheese and cracker plate available during happy hour in the lobby sitting area. It feels almost as though you’re sitting in an elegant home.
