"This property is not what it is advertised as — it is a rooming house in a middle-class neighborhood. It is not a charming English inn. Outside are is run-down. Given the lack of a true reception/office and staff on the property, it is questionable as to whether they truly are running a legitimate business. Felt very unsafe and left."

"We arrived a little early on Friday afternoon but the welcome was warm and accommodating and gave us useful information about Gunwharf Quays in general as well as the hotel. The hotel does a special rate for the main car park at gunwharf Quays at £2 a day which is excellent. They also have a great selection for breakfast, we were warned not to leave breakfast too late as it gets busy so we went down early and although busy it was easy to get what you wanted and the staff were very helpful. "All in all a good stay. Clean and bright. Bar was a little slow for the amount of people staying and that also caused breakfast issues . Staff worked had to make amends and that meant a lot. Perfect location for what we needed. "
