"There are lots of great things about this property. The location in terms of proximity to the beach and the pub, ease of parking, the garden for dogs. The interior is really nicely decorated and feels both homely/cosy and spacious. The kitchen was generally well-equipped. The bed in the main bedroom with the ensuite was comfortable, the others were okay. Everything was clean. Previous reviews mentioned a hole in the garden fence for potential escape artist dogs but we didn't have any problems with ours. Cons: Some of the fixtures/fittings need updating and just seemed a bit out of date. The TV downstairs didn't work at all. The living room TV was okay but was also quite old. it didn't hugely affect our trip because we were mostly there for the beach but it was annoying in the evenings when it kept freezing/disconnecting. The hot water was an issue for two days in a row - basically no hot water in any of the showers (even the electric ones). I did message VRBO who were generally helpful but it was the weekend. They offered to send someone round about the TV but we were only there for a long weekend and didn't want to waste an afternoon waiting inside so we just got on with it. I'd probably stay again if the issues above were sorted out as the rest of the stay was really great! "

"We had a cracking long weekend here. 5 mins flat walk to the sandy beach (even closer if you lump it over the hill). Chris and Jenny met us at the house and explained everything we needed to know. They were also super accomodating setting things up for our toddler in advance (gates/cot/chair). Thanks to the hosts."

"You can't really get much closer to the beach and despite their being shops below this wasnt that noticeable and we felt like each morning and night we had the beach to ourselves. The rooms were nicely decorated and well equiped, it was spacious but felt nice and cozy. A great retreat from the crowds on the weekend. The bar downstairs was nice and all staff friendly... so nice they even retrieved my phone from lost property and sent it back to me after we had lost it! We had a fantastic time there and would highly recommend.it!"
