"Very central for shops and walks. We are regular visitor to the Lion Hotel. You have to accept this is a very old building in an excellent location. "

"Lovely hotel. Parking easy. Really quiet. Easy access to the town. Stayed for 3 nights. One day my room wasn’t cleaned despite the sign I left on the door. TV a bit small. Internet access good. Overall I can recommend the hotel and I would stay again. "

"We arrived at 6pm and waited 10 minutes to check in. The room we reserved was unavailable. We drove for 20 minutes on single track to arrived from Shrewsbury. The breakfast was none existent. The room was clean and tidy but the lighting was terrible. I think 6.0 rate is suitable."
