"Hotel was located within the shopping street and needed walking from nearby stations. Also within walking distance to the pontocho alley. for sightseeing, you would need to walk to the crowded bus stop. Room was considered spacious by normal Japanese standards but it was also more expensive during the Sakura season. There is a special bathtub with sit down area for shower. Overall, convenient but on the pricey side for 4 star hotel. There is also an additional accommodation tax. "

In addition, if you sign up for the Kyoto Hop-On Hop-Off bus tour of Kyoto and the bus stops right in front of this hotel for pick-up and drop-off. There is a regular shuttle bus operated by the hotel that goes to and from Kyoto Metro station as well."
