"Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. "Azura was a beautiful and peaceful resort with a great beach and wonderfully friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation there and would recommend it to others. That said, the resort as a whole was short-staffed, which resulted in some longer wait times for food and drinks - not a deal breaker, just room for improvement. Also, given Costa Rica is known for its coffee, the coffee at the resort was subpar. Again, just room for improvement, but still a wonderful experience. "
