"This place was a great choice, 2min walk from Samara beach, staff was friendly, they had onsite food available, very nice bar beverages options by the pool. Pool was kid friendly with some stairs and nice shade during the day. Room had nice A/C and very comfortable beds, was very spacious and had very nice seating area. Will definitely come back to this hotel with my family. "

"We recently stayed at Villa Amore as a family of 11. The home was WONDERFUL with amazing views of the ocean, a magnificent pool and fantastic accommodations. Alex and Jenny made wonderful meals night and morning. We never had a bad meal made by them. Thank you for a truly memorable stay!"

"I love boutique hotels and Leyenda is no exception. The grounds are quite beautiful. They greeted us with a welcome drink! We stayed for 3 nights total, family of 5. We had the superior 2 bedroom and the room was good but we did add an extra room after our first night for more space and another bathroom (my fault for thinking the 3 beds/1 bath would be sufficient with two teens). We enjoyed the big pool! Wished it was a bit cooler to be a refresh from the heat, or that a part of the pool had some shade (never thought I’d say that!) We ate 3 dinners here and each dinner was AMAZING! I can not recommend their dinners enough. Warning: the portions are HUGE and very shareable. Unfortunately, the complimentary breakfast buffet was not as good as their dinner. However, the made to order cappuccinos were lovely. We took the shuttle to the beach one day and I highly recommend Playa Carillo as it was the best beach we visited in Costa Rica. Just stunning! The next day we drove our rental car to the beach and back. Overall, I would return here again. For the price, the location and amenities are a great deal. PS. The Asiatic restaurant is not open, which we were looking forward to. Luckily that main restaurant had a large variety and incredible food."

"Just a beautiful spot! Stayed for 2 weeks and the staff is so attentive, the breakfast and coffee every day delicious. And the sparkling pool across from the ocean—-if you want tranquility this is the spot. A bit down away from the main part of Samara beach which was so desired for its peace. Got the AC room to be able to sleep at night, not used to the heat of Costa rica. The best restaurant right next door. Just lovely owners, very well kept with its beautiful gardens."
