"My husband and I stayed with Mike (a fellow Canadian), for a week in February. Our casita was clean and comfortable With all the necessary amenities. We particularly enjoyed the large pool, patio area with a covered ranchero to cook and sit under. Only a short drive into Samara and the best beach in Costa Rica, Playa Carrillo. I would recommend renting a vehicle and staying at Mike’s’ place."

"We had an amazing stay. The apartment was perfect in every way. From the ocean/jungle views to the functional and beautiful layout, to the proximity to the beach, we could not have asked for more.Jackie was a wonderful host, very responsive, gracious, and helpful. We fell in love with Puerto Carrillo. If we don’t find a way to buy our own little slice of heaven out there, we will definitely return for another stay here!"
