"This was a small boutique type hotel that was very clean and cared for. The hotel was set up to show guests they are special and that showed with nice additions as daily coffee, tea, snacks and complimentary welcome drinks. Bike and beach rentals. The location is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood half a block from the beach. Many dining options are just a few blocks away. We walked every day and did not need to drive anywhere. "We loved how clean and lovely the property was. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. We were on the 2nd floor and could hear the people above us on the 3rd floor walking around and being loud. I’d recommend trying to stay on the 3rd floor to prevent any noise disruptions. The location of the hotel is perfect and within walking distance for pretty much everything. The showers had fantastic water pressure and the beds were comfortable. We’ll be back!"

"Great location and great jacuzzi. This town is perfect for biking. We have brought our young kids and bikes and we just leave the car and ride bikes to do everything, the beach is so close as are all the restaurants. Small town vibe that is so sweet. "

"This was a nice place to stay for a weekend trip. we spent the majority of our time in Santa Barbara but this hotel was well priced and only about 12 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara. the ton itself, Carpinteria is also very cute. the hotel was nice and the room was pretty clean. my only real complaint was the road and train noise in our room was a little loud. we put on a white noise app though and slept fine, so an easy fix. Also someone in a room around us was definitely smoking both...
