"They had complementary breakfast with fresh pancakes and bagels. Throughout the day they had a fridge with free water, yogurt, hard boiled eggs and cheese. They also put out fresh cookies later in the day. The staff was very friendly and made sure there were plenty supplies for everyone. "

"The Crown City Inn is an older, but nicely updated hotel that matches the Coronado vibe very well. Great courtyard in the middle provides a haven from the busy traffic on Orange Avenue in front. Only challenge is insufficient parking, but we did get the last open spot and did not move the car once there. Not a problem because we could easily walk everywhere we wanted to go because location is very good on Orange Avenue. Hi-light of the stay was the Crown Bistro restaurant attached to the hotel. Dinner was exceptional. Breakfast was excellent. Don't miss getting dinner by going other places when such a good restaurant is right there on property."

"Upon arrival and throughout our stay, the staff were very accommodating and helpful. The ease of communication before arrival via text was excellent. The breakfast was incredible- as was the ambiance of the historic building. The landscaping was beautiful and immaculate. The room was perfect for the two of us. The location of the hotel was ideal! Close to the beach and right next to the shops and restaurants at Del. We didn’t rent a car- we walked our way around the island with plenty of restaurants to pick from. We also walked just under two miles to the ferry to get to Petco Stadium to watch a padres game. Very convenient. "
