"Hotel is at a very convenient location to both Sanjo and Sanjo-Keihan stations. Short walk to some attractions, about 10 mins to Gion and 15 mins to main shopping street/market. Breakfast has decent variety but does not change much over the days. Staff and service were excellent especially Mr Azuma and Kunieda. I left a bag behind upon check out and they very kindly and efficiently helped me arrange delivery to my next destination! I am most grateful! Thank you again! "

"An exquisite experience in every regard - a luxurious, new boutique hotel with outstanding service from the concierges and the waitstaff in the restaurant at breakfast. The property is elegant and everyone who works here goes above and beyond. Rooms on the north side have views of the serene garden behind the hotel - as do every seat in the restaurant. The Okazaki neighborhood is quiet and lovely, away from the crowds and right near gorgeous temples and shrines, museums, and the philosophers...
