"Nice spacious rooms. Rate 8/10 as unfortunately we couldn't find the wifi they provided. Host speaks little English and check-in is after 15.00 (left our bags there first). Ready bath and kitchen amenities, take Exit 6 at Demachiyanagi station and walk towards the main road (shrine rooftops), use the second temple gates. Recommended to use with "Keihan Kyoto-Osaka Day Passes" for subway line transportation directly from Osaka and other major stations on south and east Kyoto."

It soon became clear this small and nice hotel was suitable for couples as well with not only daily rates but partial day rates; this apparently is fairly common in Japan with the "adults only" tag.
