"My sister and I had a really lovely stay at the Glenburn Hotel over the weekend and it was fabulous to see it open again after the new owners re-opened it earlier this year. A truly iconic hotel with lots of character, stunning views over the harbour, lots of history, and much to offer. "Unique hotel experience!! Who would have thought to bring a brilliant take on Americana culture to The Isle of Bute!! Very imaginatively curated, beyond quirky. Clean and comfortable room. Unfortunately they seemed very short staffed during our stay. They could perhaps do with importing a bit of the American service ethos to improve the customer experience. Have a nice day y’all!"

Check in was 3pm (quite a late check-in time as it is) As we were going to a function at 5 and had to leave the hotel at 4.30 I called ahead to ask if it was possible to get in to the room a little earlier. "Had a long stay at the property, the accommodation is very spacious and clean with loads of amenities. Locations is great with just a 20 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The views from the living room bay wjndows is breathe taking. Would definitely recommend staying here "

"The property was falsely listed as having a bedroom with a king bed, queen bed and sofa bed in one bedroom – this led us to believe we could house all our family members with no issues. Upon arrival the room was not as described and had only a king bed and sofa bed which caused an unexpected inconvenience for sleeping arrangements.
