While we were very happy with the accommodations, the clear high points of our short stay were the "above and beyond" helpfulness of the staff and the excellent restaurant and breakfast offerings (on our 1st evening in Scotland we were pleased to enjoy wonderful fish dishes &, of course, Haggis!!!).
Lovely hotel in Tarbert harbour. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Also ate evening meals in the restaurant as they were so good and with a varied menu. Room was lovely and comfortable. Free on street parking outside hotel. Would stay here again!
There were a handful of broken things in the hotel room, dents in the walls, there were no plugs by the bed and there was no mirror outside the bathroom making doing my hair difficult. That said, the mattress was very comfortable the shower was very good and the location was perfect for me.
We had a harbour view now normally we wouldn’t bother about a sea/harbour view that changes with a view over Tarbert harbour on a still sunny day and clear night , fabulous watching both the boats in and out and the wildlife
Staff was courteous and very friendly, dining at the hotel restaurant was outstanding! Great experience all the way around. Tarbert itself was a gem and was not there to take a ferry, visited to experience something different / unique.
This is a nice hotel in the perfect location for Tarbert, on the harbour. The room was comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. Even if you do not stay in the hotel, try the restaurant as the food was excellent.
Very well organised hotel. Extremely efficient check in and a really nice restaurant. By far the best breakfast we've had post lockdown - and we have stayed in a good few hotels now during our staycation.
Very welcoming young lady in reception
Told us all the do’s and dont’s re COVID
Sadly no hair dryer for my wife.
Also we did mention that a light on the stairs wasn’t working between the 3rd and 4th floors, it was very dark, alas it did get rectified before leaving...very dangerous...
The best thing is the stunning view over the harbour and the Loch. The room was comfortable enough and the staff were friendly and helpful. I thought the room was a little overpriced but to wake up to such a soul heartening vista was I guess the reason.
Breakfast was very good with good quality ingredients and careful attention to safe practice in these strange times.
