"We found the hotel quite by chance after our previous booking at Asheville was cancelled due to Hurricane Helene. We absolutely loved everything about our stay - the hotel, the location, the staff, the hot tub, the hiking trails, and the trout I had in the Tapoco Tavern was one of the best meals I have had during my time in the US. We live in the UK but will definitely recommend the lodge to our family living in Atlanta and anybody we know visiting North Carolina "

"There were 7 of us…My husband and myself, a family of 5 ( three generations) and 1 dog.The cabin/lodge was clean, well stocked with everything you could possibly need inside and outside and was beautifully decorated for Christmas. There was definitely plenty of room for everyone to relax and have space if need be. The decks are awesome!! "The cabin was absolutely delightful! Probably one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. Everything was perfectly tidy and ready for us. Not a cob web or bug anywhere, inside and out. I really appreciated the attention to detail, linens, cookware, and how comfortable the cabin was. The fireplace was so convenient and easy to use with the touch of a button. "This property was great! It was so homey, and the master suite is excellent. I wasn't sure how to set up the hot tub, but Tom and Faye had excellent instructions and texted back right away when I had a question. My daughter and I stayed her for a weekend getaway, and it was lovely. The driveway is steep and narrow, so I definitely recommend arriving during the day for your first visit. A great cozy cabin!"
