"The cabins at healing springs are as the name goes, healing. 😇 cozy, quaint, Appalachian charm. The actual spring water is iron and mineral-rich. Took home a few gallons and should have stocked more. My dog loved the property as well. Don’t forget to utilize their fire pits to roast marshmallows and gaze upon the Appalachian night stars and constellations."

"At first the communication with the company was great very easy payment. When walking into the cabin it smelled terrible like something died in there. It also was so many fruit flies and stink bugs everywhere most alive some dead. Me and my family went to the closest store to get bug spray and candles. As the next day came I tried calling them no one answered the calls so therefore horrible cabin. "

"We enjoyed our time at the property the view was amazing the place was very quiet and clean being that we’re both 40 peace and quiet is a desirable atmosphere lol we also enjoyed the pool table and board games the smart tv allowed us to snuggle up and watch Netflix movies we also got in the hot tub briefly the property is secluded yet within minutes of Shopping and restaurants "

"Beautiful property and area! Very quiet and peaceful. Lots of land for the dogs to run. Kids enjoyed the creek and exploring around the property. They have a tankless water heater, which means never running out of hot water from showers. Satellite TV is nice, and the internet works good. Gas fireplace is a push button and is probably the easiest fireplace I’ve ever used. Cabin has just about everything you need. Our ONLY negative is that the couch is a couch bed and not very comfortable, but...

"As advertised. Very spacious and comfortable sleeping for our 10 adults. Winter storm and probably 10 inches of snow that week and though a four-wheel-drive was needed it was easily accessible and ample parking for fairly large vehicles. Hope to return."

"Super cute cottage that was well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away. The temps were too cold for us to be outside much, but the hot tub was still enjoyable. We will be back in warmer weather to enjoy hanging out on one of the porches listening to that babbling brook! "

"What a beautiful property in the perfect setting. Very clean and well appointed throughout. Everything you could need is provided to include a very nice hot-tub, satellite internet, fireplace, and a grill. There are a few neighbors in the area that are not too close to be an issue. Keep in mind that the property is pretty remote so make sure you bring everything you need for the stay or be prepared to drive 30 minutes to the nearest grocery. "Our experience in Nantahala Cabins was really amazing. These cabins have everything you can imagine you will need to make you feel like if you live here. Some are pet friendly (if you are bringing pets make sure you select 'or are assigned' a friendly one). Pet policy is also prefect, as they state you cannot leave pets unattended, unless in a crate; and this comes the best part: they provide the large and I would say Luxurious crate themselves. "What a beautiful and cozy cabin located close to Mayberry. This is the place to stay with all the comforts of home! We would definitely stay here again when we come back to the area. "

"Every year we do a girls trip , this was our worse experience in 5 years.Wine glasses in cabinet were dirty,bathroom floor was dirty,whole place could use a good dusting.There was less than 1/4 roll of toilet paper in the cabin."

"We had a great trip. The cabin was in a great location and very convenient to Cataloochee Ski resort. We were able to watch elk in the morning right from our front porch. "The Deep Creek Overlook cabin was perfect for our family of 5 to retreat from the hustle and bustle of Christmas in Bryson City. It was just close enough to town to make a quick drive to dinner and Polar Express train but far enough away that we felt like we had our own peaceful retreat. We brought a queen sized air mattress for our youngest and it fit snugly in the master bedroom downstairs or it would have fit more comfortably in the upstairs loft with the other 2 beds.
