There were few people staying here, which meant we got the pool practically to ourselves and the beach cabanas and chairs were great too. The restaurant is ideal for dinner and there are other options up and down the beach as well. I would definitely stay here again. Golfers would especially like this place because it is right along the green around hiles 7 and 8, I believe."

"Finding best resortin Puerto Plata took me a while because I had heard mixed reviews about resorts in the area. However, staying at Tropical Beach Resort completely changed my perspective—it was absolutely amazing, and I truly loved every moment of my stay! From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was quick and seamless, setting the tone for a great experience. Our room was comfortable and charming, even though it had an older style—it didn’t bother us at all because everything else was perfect! On our first day, Saturday, we dined at Casa Blanca Buffet, and it was a fantastic introduction to authentic Dominican cuisine. The food was delicious, with so many local flavors, and the coffee was incredible, made in an old-fashioned way that I absolutely loved. The decor and atmosphere were spot on, creating a warm and inviting experience. One of the best perks of staying at this resort was access to the other hotels in the complex via a convenient shuttle service. We visited The Pearl Restaurant, and I was truly impressed! While they had fewer menu options, the quality of the food was outstanding—definitely worth trying. The night shows were another highlight of our stay. The entertainment team was fun, engaging, and full of energy, making the nights so enjoyable. Every performance was well done, and we looked forward to them every evening. We had such an incredible experience that we decided to have our wedding at the resort! That’s how much we fell in love there. "
