"Had a great stay at BlueBay Villas Doradas. The staff was excellent. Food options were perfect for us. The a la carte dinner were great, except for the Italian dinner. That was a huge disappointment. Everything else was very nice. Our bed was comfortable, and we rested well. One other negative was the entertainment. It was boring. The staff should make an effort to engage with tge guests more. Have guests participate and get rid of Mexican night. This is the DR! There is plenty of great music...

"Excellent for a kite vacation. You can launch directly in front of the hotel and can rent lockers from them to store your gear. The room itself was very nice and clean. My only complaint was that the AC was stuck at 18C, which was way too cold (but then again I never asked them to try to fix it so part of it is on me). "

"We enjoyed our stay. Staff were very nice except one grouchy guy at the beach grill. The rest were all very nice. Our room was spacious but there was not a chair or table as we usually have. We requested a chair and were given a plastic one. Food was good. what we expected for a 3 star experience. "
