"This resort is a peaceful oasis! The grounds are beautiful, staff was amazingly friendly and helpful, and the property is brimming with history. You could easily spend a day exploring the grounds and taking in wonderful views of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge. I stayed in a modern room which was spacious, clean, luxurious, and peaceful. The beds were comfortable, and the fireplace was a nice touch. Downtown Sausalito is an easy car ride away, and the hotel offers transportation. From there, you can easily get to San Francisco from the ferry. I’d highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a relaxing experience! "

"This is a great hotel in a great location. Walking distance to downtown. It is an older hotel with small rooms but lots of charm. They do supply earplugs in the rooms because you can hear everything but I wear earplugs anyway when I stay at a hotel because I'm a light sleeper. You have to find street parking which can be a little tricky but overall I liked this hotel and will stay there again. "

"You get what you pay for. I'm accustomed to noise, checking out my window throughout the night on my vehicle. However in the two and a half years I've stayed there on and off, it's just that. You get what you pay for but I've never had a problem. Great staff! Always helpful when I needed it."
