"Hotel Lunata is excellent. It is right on 5th Ave, and there is great stuff around each direction you walk. Hotel is in a relatively quiet section. The loudest bars are further up 5th Ave. The hotel was perfectly clean and our room was beautiful! The service was great. They answered all questions and called our taxi when we left. Will definitely stay again if I come back to Play del Carmen."

"Location,Location,Location This was our 4-5th stay, we have stayed at other hotels and locations but this is the one we like the best and we now stick with, the partial seaside 3rd floor rooms are the best with the bricked domed ceilings IMHO, it was our 25th Anniversary and they went the extra mile to make the room nice with heart balloons and love swans from towels and a nice message, also the views from the balconies are amazing overlooking the central square and the beach and sea with a view of Cozumel in the distance and the Ferry Terminals about 300 yards away but you can't hear it just see it and all the people coming and going, if you enjoy people watching this is the spot, yet mostly quiet enough to sleep or take a nap at any time there are maya dance shows during the day 10-11 am and stop around 7-8pm in the square but not too loud, the hotel is located 5th and Juarez so about 50 yards to the hotel from the ADO bus station you can take from and back to the airport for $12.50 USD each way and 20 yards from some of the best powdered beach in Playa, also the AC worked great."

"Really nice hotel close to everything yet feels tucked away from the hustle and bustle thanks to the tropical courtyard. Room was clean and comfortable and staff were very accommodating. Some loud music from the hostel nearby but this finished by midnight so didn’t affect our stay. Would stay here again!"
