"We really enjoyed the location of the carriage loft! It was close to town and stores but felt serene and private. The loft itself was well appointed and clean. There were some repairs that could be made, but nothing that impacted our stay or would prevent us from returning- for sure! All provisions for a full kitchen were included and the linens/towels were plenty and nice. "The check in staff was so helpful, happy and kind. The check in made me feel special. The room was clean and quiet. I have stayed in nicer budget hotels, but for an overnight stay in Placerville it was completely worth it. Coffee machine and fridge in room. A comfortable bed and aircon and heater was quiet, worked well and ended up being a cozy stay. Kudos to the woman who checked me in "
