Doing the afternoon tour with Victor was great, especially his knowledge of plants, animals, birds and love of gardening for the restaurant."

"The description of the property is fraudulent. No towels in the room, the hot water does not work, we reserved full size beds but were put ib a room with 4 twin beds. We had to climb 64 steps in the rain to get to our room. Internet is only available in the lobby."

The restaurant is cute and offers good food at a reasonable price. We had lots of rain while there and it does creep into the casitas. Our towels never really dried and the bed felt clammy too. "The property is beautiful and true farm to table dining but therefore a limited menu. The private cassitas are lovely and spacious with a large bathroom and private patio. However the bed creaked getting in and out and whenever you moved and the mattress was so hard I barely slept. The hot tub was too scalding hot to actually enjoy but the setup was stunning. "

The area it's in is absolute heaven, surrounded by rainforest and rivers and on the edge of a lake under a volcano. The bird life is astounding and the activities and tours available are great. The room I was in was very small, but perfect for 1 person. 2 would people would have been cosy. But it has a gorgeous little terrace out the front and back...

"Beautiful place! The hotel is tucked up the hill on a gravel road that would be manageable in any car if you drive carefully. There is access to hiking from the hotel and nature all around. William and staff were very helpful and always available. William can help book any kind of experience you’d like in the area and has great recommendations and advice. Would definitely stay here again!"
