"We had a wonderful time at Hotel Heliconias recently. Me and my two best friends came to celebrate my 50th birthday and we can't say enough good things about this hotel, the staff and the exceptional service. From the moment we arrived we were taken care of by Diego and Alejandro. Check in was seamless, the rooms were clean and well equipped, the breakfast was scrumptious and believe me when I say this was the best breakfast of our entire week in Costa Rica. The service was impeccable....

"The property is beautiful and true farm to table dining but therefore a limited menu. The private cassitas are lovely and spacious with a large bathroom and private patio. However the bed creaked getting in and out and whenever you moved and the mattress was so hard I barely slept. The hot tub was too scalding hot to actually enjoy but the setup was stunning. "

"The description of the property is fraudulent. No towels in the room, the hot water does not work, we reserved full size beds but were put ib a room with 4 twin beds. We had to climb 64 steps in the rain to get to our room. Internet is only available in the lobby."

"This place was just wonderful. The hot springs are beautiful, the rooms lovely and so clean, the staff was friendly, the restaurant was delicious, and the tour guide, Neny, was just wonderful. She was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about all the animals we saw. She really enhanced our visit. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this place to anyone. It is a paradise!!"

"We had a wonderful time. The grounds are beautiful. We saw monkeys lots of birds and other wildlife right from our window. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. The restaurant is cute and offers good food at a reasonable price. We had lots of rain while there and it does creep into the casitas. Our towels never really dried and the bed felt clammy too. So be aware of this and decide if that works for you before booking. The kitchen is also only sparsely equipped. It would've been nice to...
