"Lovely place to stay in Arenal for a brief trip! Located in between La Fortuna and Arenal. Rained the whole time we were there so we missed a view of the volcano, but the pools were still quite nice (particularly the reserved pool for hotel guests). Impressed by the service when we requested an extra cot in our room; they set up a full bed in 5 minutes! Room itself was spacious with high ceilings and a large bathroom. Would recommend overall!"

"The staff were very helpful and charming in offering us guidance - how to save on taxis. We were within walking distance of Arenal Waterfall but to get to La Fortuna we needed transportation. The rain was heavier than we expected this time of year- early December. We missed having television in our rooms, but there was a serenity to the location."

"This is a beautiful riverside lodge which allows its residents to listen to the sound of the rushing river while seeing many species of birds and other animals on the grounds. There were many bird watchers in the dining hall and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The did a river safari tour which helped us to see even more caiman, iguanas, howler monkeys and toucans."

"Absolutely fantastic stay in every way! I was there with my wife and 2 daughters 9/10yo. They LOVED the farm and all the animals roaming on the property. The service was attentive and kind, the room was immaculately clean, well appointed and spacious. The breakfast was fresh and concierge was helpfully booking us a tour. Highly recommend while staying in La Fortuna. "

"Hotel Lomas Del Volcan is wonderful in every way. The grounds and views are breathtaking. There are beautiful flowers everywhere you look, and the Arenal Volcano is a stunning backdrop. We even saw a sloth and monkeys while enjoying the delicious complimentary buffet breakfast! I also cannot say enough about how truly friendly and welcoming all of the hotel staff are. The hotel is very accessible to restaurants, hot springs, and the La Fortuna Waterfall. We have absolutely loved our stay here and highly recommend for anyone visiting La Fortuna!"
