Kirpal Meditation and Ecological Center

3.0 star property
7.8 out of 10, Good, (74)
"This is the real Hawaii! The property is located in a relatively remote area about 30 minutes south of Pahoa. Beautiful setting in the middle of a forest not too far from the beach. Isaac Hale Park is within walking distance and although the beach isn’t very safe for swimming there is a pond there that you can swim in. The accommodations are primitive and like camping but Mango Cabin was very spacious and the beds were VERY comfy. It is off-grid but there is electricity to the cabins. The cabins...

"I really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a month while we relocated from Ohio. The owners were easily accessible and very kind. The house was clean and fully stocked. Dog-friendly home near the ocean with lanai, washer/dryer, desk and Free Wifi

6.8 out of 10, (5)
"Overall the trip was great. Location is great. Had an issue with the Wi-Fi, had to contact spectrum and purchase an Ethernet cord to fix it. There is a mouse trap under the bathroom cabinet but need more because there was mouse droppings on the bed and all throughout the house. The mouse was in my luggage and left droppings and also jumped out at me. The bathroom in the master has 100’s of little bugs coming out of the caulk crack. Also the tubs don’t drain. We purchased a snake to get all the...
