"I loved my stay here in Mismaloya. The hotel was a lovely surprise. Lovely grounds. Easy walk to incredible beach and town. My huge downside is they allow smoking all over property. I’m on my balcony/ shared terrace as I type with cigarette smoke billowing up from below. The clientele is mostly retired Canadian / USA couples that like to sit in the sun and smoke lol. I would return. "

"Location, location, location! We saw whales just 50 yards from our bay front patio. The rooms are very basic, but who spends time in their room with a patio like this? The restaurant and bar is attached to the hotel and open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The owners are delightful and helpful. We will go back."
