"The Kaika hotel was very unique and interesting. We liked the art displays. The room was small, but well laid out. we LOVED the bathroom, the combined shower/bath room was so great. And the beds were very comfortable! The breakfast downstairs was disappointing and very expensive. We did enjoy the lattes and juice though. The windows in the rooms did not open, which surprised us. So the rooms were very stuffy overnight. And the air intake vents were very dirty, they had a thick layer of dust...

My only feedback would be that the kitchen is quite small, however I believe that the area that would have been utilised for the kitchen has been allocated to the tatami room. "Our new favorite hotel to stay in Tokyo. The location is prefect right next to the train station, food, sumo venue and the beautiful river. The room/suite was incredibly quiet and spacious. "Our room had a view of Skytree which I specifically picked. I loved this hotel and area. Breakfast buffet was a good price for 1,800 yen. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. We had it a few times during our 8-night stay. Skytree is just a very short walking distance away, with all the shopping and restaurants. Oshiage station is next door. PJ is provided and fresh towels are provided daily. Trash picked up daily. There’s scheduled normal cleaning a few days into arrival. Front desk was a great help...
