"Staff were excellent, without exception. Warm and friendly and entirely welcoming. The bed was comfortable either side of the centreline, although very obviously two singles zipped together which made for a dip in the middle. Blackout curtains were a positive too. Downsides: soundproofing is poor. You can hear every door closing and too many conversations from other rooms. The shower pressure was painfully weak (but the water was always reliably hot on demand). Finally, if you have mobility issues make sure you book an accessible room, otherwise you will be faced with a plethora of small staircases and a menagerie of random doors. "

"By far the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in, we had a king size bed which was stunning and there were 2 different really cool bars which we tried. The staff were friendly and both bar tenders in particular really looked after us. We want to come back again."

"Lovely weekend in the Cotswolds staying at Lygon Arms. We stayed in a Cottage Room, which was very charming and quaint. The whole hotel is full of history and it's very charming. Staff were brilliant and friendly. "

"They had a full service gym attached to the hotel which was excellent. The breakfast offered a nice variety on both hot and cold side. Rooms were a bit small but I wasn’t planning to dance in it and the beds were comfortable."
