"We have been to The Cotswolds many times, but this is the first time staying at the Prince of Burford. We were made very welcome from the beginning and was even offered a complimentary drink on arrival, which you don’t get in all hotels. Room was lovely, spacious, clean and comfortable. "It was an intriguing building. Rooms well furnished and heated. The staff were very helpful and friendly. BUT not a suitable place for elderly or those with mobility problems. An outside flight of stairs, which could be slippery in wet weather, led to first floor and then more internal steep stairs our room. There were no grab rails in the shower.
