"The Orchid is absolutely beautiful! The grounds are immaculate and pool is the perfect size with a separate section for adults. The food options are good. We especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet that had about every option you could imagine. The beach is ideal for kids with no breaking waves, a sandy beach, and safe clear waters for snorkeling! It's just a short walk to a nice grocery store, shops, and more dining options. Our trip was just about perfect!"

"The property itself is just as described with all amenities and conveniences for a luxurious short term stay. Our only complaint would be the constant gardening - sometimes during early morning hours. One other small issue - we paid extra for hotel access to the Mauna Kea and Hapuna hotels but the Hapuna was under massive construction with jack hammers etc, in hearing distance from the pool and beach. Needless to say, we didn't go there again during our stay."

"If you are visiting the Big Island, look no further than the western on Hapuna Beach! This resort is beaming with luxury, but also offers a beachy vibe and many spaces to escape to on the property. The food at Meridia is absolutely incredible and it is the best restaurant on the island as far as food and views! The bed in the room is like sleeping on a cloud, And the bathrooms are exquisite, equipped with dual sinks, a bathtub and a glass walk-in shower. We were celebrating our wedding...
