"Pros: Amazing views from the condo of the beach and ocean; we did not use the pool on the property, but it looked nice. Easy to walk into town. Spacious 1 bedroom with 1 bathroom. Easy to park at the property. Friendly people. Cons: Condo is in need of a refresh - damaged drywall, vent is caked with dust, screen door is off track and difficult to open/shut, kitchen is pretty well equipped, but chipped plates (one was clearly repaired with some type of glue). "This is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Understated and tasteful elegance. Fantastic rooms with amazing balconies, world class beach, impeccable service, excellent grounds, fine dining at Manta, but also a beachfront casual bar/restaurant, and Copper Bar in between and our favorite. They have an Asian Art Collection worthy of a museum. This was out of our usual price range, a big splurge, and worth every penny. We are already trying to figure out how to swing it to go back next winter. "

"Great staff and service. Dated rooms, less than great fixtures and furniture. Lots of in room tile but very comfortable beds. Very expensive food and drinks, but most items were tasty - however the Mai Tai's were the worst I have had at any luxury resort. It's not the Four seasons or The Ritz Carlton and has limited hours for room service (strange for a 5 star resort hotel), but you also don't pay the premium price for the accommodations. "This was sour 3rd time staying at this property. We love it here. It’s spacious, clean, quiet, tranquil, and great for families. We’ve enjoyed all the beautiful sunsets from our oceanfront condo. We look forward to coming back. "
