"This was an excellent location to explore Bath. The hop on hop off bus had a stop near the hotel so I never had to use my car to get around. The staff members were all very nice and helpful. The car park was to the rear of the hotel and very convenient. "

"Unfortunately this was just a one night stay ,everything about this hotel was exceptional from checking in the staff where excellent. We had room upgrade and this room had everything, as well as a shower there was a bath in the bedroom very quirky. We need to return and next time make it for longer."

"The Clayton is perfectly situated for a weekend trip to Bristol. The hotel is very clean and tidy with really helpful staff. Our room was quiet, warm, cosy and very comfortable. With plenty of nearby parking and city centre location it’s easy to get about either on foot or otherwise. Having stayed in Bristol on many occasions I have to say that this hotel definitely comes recommended. "

"Great location for the city centre. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. We had our dog with us and she was spoilt with treats by the staff in the bar. We had a basement room that was really quiet and lovely and dark overnight. The bed was comfy and the shower was great. Huge bathroom!"

"Have stayed here many times over 30+ years. Still feels special after so many visits and highly highly recommended. Staff are great, location & setting can't be beaten and restaurant does fabulous breakfast and afternoon tea (haven't eaten dinner there so can#t comment on that but suspect also great!) Only thing to be aware of is that this is a Grade 1 listed building so that limits what they are allowed to do re modern plumbing etc so if a high pressure shower is a must then you'll have to...
