"The room was ok , had to pay extra for another room as partner couldn’t get in lifts as room was on 10th floor .Bathroom had makeup on the tiles ,so it wasn’t cleaned properly before we get there , dust in the wardrobe ,other wise it was ok"

"We stayed the night when attending a show at the Anvil. The hotel was convenient for the town centre restaurants and the theatre. The hotel has free parking. Our room was spotless and clearly recently renovated. Other rooms had workmen replacing bathrooms, so the hotel Is being smartened up. The bed was comfortable, and the room warm. Reception staff were helpful. Overall, for the price we paid, it was excellent value for money and we will definately use again. We didnt stay for breakfast, so...

"Big Hotel, very spacious and corporate. Grounds are grand and full of trees. Breakfast was ok (£50 for 2) . Very clean (small rooms in Annex). Bed not firm but comfortable. "

Lots of lovely cocktails to choose from. Fantastic view of the river Thames (although no walkable direct path down to it)."
