"I booked a room with shared bathroom and it turned out there was a mistake that the room was already booked. I got upgraded to a room with en-suite for free which was great. The room was very clean and nice. But the only strange thing is that I had to throw away the rubbish myself."

"The house is in a prime spot in the city centre, but just enough away from the bustle to be quiet. It's well equipped and furnished. The kitchen is in the basement (cool in the summer). The two bathrooms are nicely done and well-functioning. We appreciated the toiletries and milk provided on arrival! There was plenty of space for the 6 of us. Not sure where more than 8 or 9 people would sit in the living room though. We couldn't close one of the old sash windows on the second floor but it...

"The property is beautiful and perfect for groups with lots of space and excellent facilities. We made good use of the hot tub and were lucky with clear skies so could stargaze from the tub. Lovely local walks and excellent nearby pubs."

"What can I say about the most amazing property to stay at new year. Catered for everything, even had a Xmas tree. Had fizzy wine, butter, biscuits, bread, jams. Even had a tour by the owner to where to sit on New Year’s Eve on the hillside over looking western. Shame it was only 2 days. "

"Perfect location, beautiful house. Just one niggle in that the DVD player wasn’t working and someone had prepared a special DVD to be played for a milestone birthday on the basis one was in the house. "

"We enjoyed our stay very much. The only constructive advice I could give you would be to say that it was a little bit chilly in the evenings as we sat downstairs prior to departing for dinner and it was the next morning when we got up and we adjusted the heat at those moments nothing seemed to happen to change the temperature.. the only other thing I had is that a dust pan would be useful for sweeping the floor in the kitchen"

"Had a lovely weekend stay for my best friends hen. The kitchen/dining room area was the hub, we always seemed to gravitate there because it was so spacious and plenty of seating and natural light. Hot tub was fantastic, exactly what we needed after a long day in Bath, of which is only a 15/20minute drive from the property. "Joe and I had a wonderful stay at The Shed. The space and size were perfect and exactly what we were looking for in a English countryside cottage stay. The bed was comfortable. We spent plenty of time in the cozy living room reading and relaxing. The kitchen was serviceable. The heaters took a bit of time to get going but they put out plenty of heat to keep the space warm.
