"We made a very last minute booking for a brief stay for an early morning flight. We were made to feel very welcome in this lovely pub. They went out of their way to tell us there would be no food available in the evening due to a flood but we were amazed a breakfast was left ready for us if we wanted it at whatever time in the morning. Really comfortable and clean rooms and a lovely cosy country pub setting. Will definitely stay again. Thank you. "

"The place was very simple and easy to find, the key/cardless check in was great, directions to the room were also good. The room itself was very nice and looked the exact same as the photos online. However I would just like to highlight a few points that I was not very happy with. The cleanliness of the bathroom area was not up to a great standard. There were a few hairs in the bathtub, discoloured limescale surrounding the bottom of the tub, alongside a tap that would not stop dripping...

"Beautiful property. Loved the character of the old mansion and the decor within the home. Check in was pleasant and easy. The TV channel selection was good compared to other places in our travels, which helps with children. Rooms were clean, however there was no soap provided to wash your hands in the room, which was inconvenient. We didn’t have a great sleep as the beds are quite hard, and the pillow cases had a damp towel unfresh scent that was my biggest complaint. Other than that, it was...

"Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms lovely and spacious, clean and warm with tea and coffee making facilities provided. Gluten free diet extremely well catered for at breakfast. Perfect location for visiting Longleat. Could not fault it, "

"From the start the staff were very friendly and informative and allowed us go book in early. The room was excellent and exactly as expected. Breakfast was excellent and served with a smile. The B & B was well situated for the city centre but also quiet at night. Highly recommended."

"Interesting experience! Great location and value for Central Bath - both the room and parking. Would have given more stars except for these niggles: Tried to book parking in advance and as other reviews say got nowhere… On arrival we were early for check-in but called the mobile number provided at the hotel, arranged parking and room key so all ok (we thought…) , then a slight hiccup getting in at end of our evening but was quickly sorted when I messaged and was sent a very helpful video!...
