"This hotel is closed!! They took our money and never told Hotels.com that it was closed. Doors are barred and no one inside. Had to stay at another hotel across the street so we saw that it was always closed. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. Have been to Isla many times, but this was our first time staying South Island. Our room was comfortable and roomy with many extras. Bonus was having a free breakfast at the affiliated KinHa Beach Club, where you can also spend the day enjoying the loungers and water toys. Several very good restaurants within a short walk. The whole area had a nice vibe and very chill. Highly recommend."

"Overall the property was good. Nice location on the beach - set back but have an ocean view makes it not too loud. We are at the beach club attached and that was really nice. The y accommodated vegan and other dietary restrictions. The unit itself was a little dated but had good amenities - the location on the north beach is great and we will be back! "

"It's a nice apartment with a fridge. Service was prompt but it has to be with the Hotel.com app only. There should be one microwave in the common area. And it's hard to communicate as the doorman and host do not speak English. I had to use the translator a lot. Otherwise it's a nice place. "

"Been traveling and bouncing from hotel to hotel Wanted to get a house as we are a big family of 7 so we can all be together . Frist off the pictures are outdated those are from when the place was just open the outside look horible and dangers.the house inside is not that bad just need a good actual deep clean and a couple touch ups and replacements especially the shower head and the windows springs as they are alot of mosquitos . Would not recommend unless your use to water bug roaches and...

"This traditional Mexican hotel is located in the perfect downtown location. It’s also within walking distance of the ferry terminal. The main “pedestrian only” street is at your doorstep and is filled with restaurants, bars, street vendors, etc. The noise level at night is generally good, so you can get a cool nights sleep, in the very comfortable bed. "We were welcomed by Mafer. I believe she said it was a mix of Maria and Fernanda. She was amazing. Welcoming and full of smiles. From there every single staff member was respectful, helpful, ready to serve. Will definitely come back. "

"Excellent stay - we loved it, hotel was clean and welcoming, with an excellent variety of dinner options. There was plenty of choices for midday snacks around the pool area as well. The beach is outstanding and staff is very eager to help. They should improve on a couple points though. What we didn't like is that breakfast is very limited overall, and very limited for people not eating pork.The hotel advertises beach volleyball and snorkeling equipment for use. Beach volleyball was advertised on daily activities as well, but was never set up during our stay, so I highly doubt they have it at all as whenever I asked about it, I was told it was taking place in the pool. Snorkeling gear was only available if you would book a snorkeling trip. That was not advertised as that too. Also, if there are pool tables, they should be level, and there should be chalk for cues."

"This was by far the best resort we have ever stayed at near Cancun. The staff was attentive and quick with every request. There were various activities for kids/teens to keep busy. The only thing I would change is to have more inclusive activities, while there were lots of adults only activities and kids/teen activities there were not many activities to do together as a family. For example, the pool volleyball was adults only, and when our nearly 16 year old son wanted to join he couldn't. Which is fine, but we never got the option to play pool volleyball on the family pool side. It seems like the fun activities were reserved for adults only. Other than that, the resort was absolutely amazing, and we would definitely stay there again."
