"To describe this place as refurbished was ridiculous. Old, tatty, grubby, worn, unloved would be more accurate descriptions. A part of the bathroom wall was actually missing where a tile had come off, leaving a hole in the wall big enough for a family of rats to come through. It was game over for me when I sat down on the bed and a giant cockroach scurried across the floor from under it. "Probably the best motel in Brawley. Pulled in for 1 night as we spent a few hours through sunset at the Imperial Sand Dunes just about 20 mins away. This was Day 1 of our southwest road trip thru Nevada, Utah and AZ. Restaurant right next door was solid. Parking easy, supermarket just a minute down the road. Breakfast was included but imo was below avg, typical hotel/motel breakfast, didnt like the taste of the sausage or eggs, but i never do at these types of motels.... the mini doughnuts were fire tho. Would stay again. "
