"Very good for $ stay! Cute, clean rooms in a nice set up with a shared kitchen/lounge space. Neighbourhood was close to quite a few restaurants. We were provided with both bath and beach towels as well as earplugs (the windows are not soundproof from outside). My only suggestion would be for better pillows. Communication for check in/out was all by phone/email but instructions were clear and we had no issues. Would do a short term stay here again!"

The roof top deck had beautiful sunsets and creates a perfect environment for guests to interact with each other somewhat like a bed and breakfast. "It is an interesting place to stay, with grand old architecture. The dinner and breakfast we ordered offered a broad choice of foods which were both tasty and novel to our palates. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately there was no convenient place to hang out a little hand washed laundry. Outside the peaceful interior, Saturday night on the local street was by contrast, quite lively! "

"Large and airy room on second floor of an old building in the center of Old San Juan. Great (secure) location for walking the city. Refrigerator, microwave, and sink for minor cooking. "My room was very clean and the fact it was on the beach was a huge perk! My room did not have hot water. I advised the front desk. They said they would take care of it but when I went back after a day at the beach, the water was still cold. The hallways are dark and creepy. Other than those two things, it wasnt that bad of a stay. "
