Dubious stain on wall - came off with a wet wipe so cleaning staff should have sorted it. No mattress protectors - sheets straight onto mattress. Light duvets - no spare blanket. Was chilly! Hallways smell musty and of old cigarettes. Lifts small and not showing floor numbers during transit. Good sorts bar showing football and rugby. Reception staff looked after bags...

"The route into the property coming from the nearest Metro station is via some concrete stairs through an underground carpark. At night this could be intimidating as we encountered several individuals/groups in the area. I stress nothing happened but it didnt make a good impression."

"I have stayed here numerous times to go to Bongos Bingo as it is only a short distance walk to cains brewary. The hotel is clean but the rooms could do with an update but can’t complain when we get a good price . The reception area, bar and restaurant are lovely and the food is great. Parking being free is also a real bonus "

"Had slight issue with lighting in the room. Kept flickering off and on, did stop after a couple of hours though. Only other issue was the heating not working. Other than that it was very pleasant."
