"It's a beautiful property in the country with public bus access if you are willing to walk a mile to the bus stop. I considered it good exercise and a beautiful walk if its not raining. We had some issue with our room keys and had to have them reactivated every night when we returned from our excursions. The breakfast is very good but I'm not a big breakfast eater. I thought it was included in our stay but its not. I wish I'd skipped it all together when i checked out and realized it was 15...

"This would actually be a review of the Morangie Hotel in Tain. We were informed just a few weeks before our trip that they have repairs that needed to be done in the Mansfield hotel and that they transferred us to another hotel without an offer of a refund. The Morangie Hotel was a nice looking manor and had lovely stag head and Jacobite sword memerobilia. However shrouded in tacky halloween decorations and buckets laid about to catch leaks around the hotel. It wasn’t the stay we were expecting....

"At my age I have had all the presents I can ever want so to gather all the family around me was the best I have ever done. The sun shone and groups of peace wandered around, 40year old sat round the table with glasses of wine. The youngsters played pool downstairs.
