"Thoroughly enjoyed our week at Sunset Chalet. The over the top characteristic was the stunning views of Lake Tahoe from our deck. Chalet was exceptionally clean and well stocked with thoughtful amenities. Host was immediately available to resolve an issue when the area power was shut down and we called her cell phone. Would we return- absolutely."

The Millicent lift was right in front but not easy for some of our beginner skiersIt snowed and the house was well equipped with a snow plow and my husband enjoyed running that!The guest books need to be updated as the binders were coming aparttVs were everywhere!!Since we rented the whole thing we enjoyed watching the playoff NFL games together and it combined with the kitchen which was roomy enough...

"We’ve stayed in this Chalet numerous times when the Murdoch family owned it. As always, we had a great family getaway, but price increase with new owners might have us Checking other options for future. New ownership was easy to work with & immediately answered any questions that arose. Later checkin than previous years, and a $50 fee for early checkin was a little Disappointing."

"Beautiful, large house that was perfect for our trip out to visit family and go skiing at Mount Rose. Kids loved the game room and the tree house. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of soft towels for everyone. My only minor issue is that the oven, and kitchen in general, is a bit small to cook for a large group (we had 6 adults and 4 kids). Also, the grill was not working during our stay, the owner did apologize for the inconvenience and committed to getting it fixed. Would definitely stay here...
