We’ve been staying at Little America for over 20 years, and it has always been a special place for us. The charm of the rooms, elegant decor and exceptional room service made every stay feel like a treat. One of the things we loved most was how room service arrived with meals beautifully presented. It felt elevated, thoughtful, and welcoming. During our most recent stay, we noticed some significant changes. Some of the garden rooms have been remodeled, and while they are still nice, they lack the distinctive character that made them feel special. They now feel more like standard hotel rooms rather than the cozy, elegant spaces we always looked forward to. Room service has also changed, likely around the time of COVID. Instead of the refined presentation we were used to, our meals arrived in plastic takeout containers. We ordered cheese and crackers, and they literally brought us a sealed package of Ritz crackers. It’s a small thing, but those little touches made a big difference. The restaurant in the main building has shifted to a buffet rather than offering a menu. While the food is still good, it doesn’t quite compare to what we remember. Little America still holds a special place in our hearts, and we appreciate the memories we’ve made here. The quality is still there in many ways, but some of the thoughtful details that once set it apart seem to have faded.

The Little America hotel is a classic older hotel, clean, and the staff is very welcoming and accommodating. When there were any issues that came up, a plumbing issue, reservation questions, they were handled quickly and efficiently. Dining options are great. Lobby is comfortable and warm, especially in winter. I’d highly recommend.
