"We had a wonderful time at the Whistling Turtle Chalet with our extended family. Plenty of space in nice clean rooms. Wonderful kitchen fully stocked, with beautiful rooms and grounds. Jenny was extremely communicative and helped with everything we needed or any questions we had. Such thoughtful accommodations and attention to detail. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to stay again!"

"The cottage was very nice on a beautiful lake. Lots of beds to choose from, two walk in showers and a tub. Great living room and decks that wrapped around the house. We visited many many local restaurant and bars and ate lots of delicious fish. Access to the lake is difficult. Only two of us were able to get down to it. That was my only disappointment. So no boating or swimming for us😢 with great food. Ate lots of delici"

"Our group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our early winter stay in this beautiful home. The kitchen was well-appointed with plenty of dishware. A nice touch was extra spices and food wrapping material. Appliances were functional. The bedrooms were large and the beds comfortable. We could enjoy the remote nature of Door County while being less than 10 minutes from Sister Bay. "What a nice surprise! From the outside, the Sumac Chalet looked like a quaint little cabin tucked in the woods. But once inside the mix of finishes and furnishings were fun and inviting. There was even a SleepNumber bed just like at home and set it to 65 for a good night's sleep. First thing we did was hike the trail behind the cabin.
