"Asked for river view room which cost $70+ tax per night even though it was off season. The tub was large jacuzzi tub we couldn’t use because there wasn’t enough hot water to make it comfortable "

"My friends and I appreciated how Cedar Lodge was more affordable, and that it was a reasonable drive from the El Portal entrance of Yosemite National Park! The rooms were kept very clean and neat. We also appreciated how they have a Store onsite that is well stocked with food, drinks, and souvenirs! Highly recommend!"

"Stayed in a heated tent and it was perfect. I brought extra blankets and sleeping bags as I was unsure of how cold it would be. It was in the 30s at night(outside) and actually ended up too hot in the tent and turned the heater down. Registration staff was super friendly, shuttles worked out great for coming back from firefall. There were plenty of trails around the area to keep us busy. Also enjoyed the added security of staff checking our tent at night to make sure we were registered guests."

"This property is very convenient as far as walking to restaurants and bars. Really close!!!!! also Yosemite is an hour and a 15 minutes away. You also have many hikes around the property. "

The front office staff was was helpful and professional, which was different from my previous stay here, when the person at the front office was not very welcoming. "No short of being perfect. Only shortfall was that their slow internet especially during busy time of the day."

"The location of the property and the view is incredible. Unfortunately, the cost of the room does not align with what you actually get…you get an outdated room with a torn headboard, poorly cleaned furniture and curtains with dirty carpet and a room with spiders and other insects crawling around. What a waste of a potentially beautiful and historic hotel."
