It was great to be right in the Valley. You can walk to trail heads & shuttle to the ones away from the valley. Beautiful location but property is very old & outdated. Staff at the check in all obviously hated their jobs & we’re not accommodating at all when our room wasn’t ready at check in.

The staff was very attentive and kind. The facilities were clean and comfortable. I definitely recommend this lodge if you go to Yosemite Valley.

While the dining options were several and the food quite good, the location of dining was poor and confusing. The accommodations were in worn conditions and not well described in the booking info. Thus, our bedding was double beds, not queens. Staff were excellent, but the layout of facilities too spread out.

Had to wait till past 18.30 for the room to be ready. Our other room wasn’t clean. There were food crumbs under the bed Staff was nice, but could not speed up the process

Check in was easy. Our room was out dated which we knew from reviews. But it was 22* it snowed and we had no heat. Went and let front desk know and they did get us xtra blankets but never fixed the heat. We froze all night. Went to get food from the quick service brought it to the room after being stranded on top of the mountain because of the snow storm that came through. Yes it was cold out but the food wasn’t even warm. It was cold. Maybe the stay would have been better if we were there in the summer.
